Shipwrecks: Diving Graveyard of the Atlantic
There are only a few books that I can honestly say I have literally “worn the cover off”. This is one of them. When I travel to North Carolina I take this book. Farb has done an amazing job describing each wreck in vivid detail supplemented with wreck diagrams, underwater photos, and maps. I have found many of the diagrams to be most helpful in orienting myself to a new site. This book is the second edition and describes a detailed dive to the U.S.S. Monitor.

This book is a must for any shipwreck enthusiast, diver, or historian. Whether you have dived the wrecks of North Carolina, live in North Carolina, or are thinking of diving in North Carolina you must buy this book. For those of you who have not yet discovered the wrecks of North Carolina, the appendix is chock full of charter info and state laws governing artifact retrieval.
