Erik is an avid wreck diver with extensive Great Lakes wreck diving experience, specializing in shipwrecks of Central and Eastern Lake Erie.  Erik is a member of the prestigious Explorers Club and is a proud member and supporter of the following organizations: Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society, Great Lakes Historical Society, and ShipREX International. Erik has been published in dive magazines in the United States and in Brazil. Erik is currently authoring a three-volume series of Lake Erie shipwrecks entitled Dive Erie's Greatest Wrecks. The first volume: Shipwrecks of Central Lake Erie is currently under production.
